The long awaited Starcraft patch 1.1 is out and among many map editor and visual changes several balance changes have taken place in game. I myself cannot help but think that most if not all these changes are to please the Zerg and their QQing *Idra* I will now list the changes and how i as a Diamond Terran player feel about such changes(vs Terran). The changes are as followed:
Balance Changes
* PROTOSS
o Zealot
+ Build time increased from 33 to 38.
+ Warp Gate cooldown increased from 23 to 28.
Although this change is nice i do not feel it was needed as a Terran i have no problem dealing with zealot this change seems like it is mostly to please Z in ZvP matchup.
* TERRAN
o Battlecruiser
+ Ground damage decreased from 10 to 8.
o Bunker
+ Build time increased from 30 to 35.
o Reaper
+ Build time increased from 40 to 45.
o Siege Tank
+ Siege mode damage changed from 50 to 35 (+15 armored).
+ Upgrade damage changed from +5 to +3 (+2 armored).
BattleCruiser- Blizzard stated the reason for this change was due to Terrans turtling up hardcore and teching to battlecruisers and that B/C lack viable ground counters. I dont know what games blizzard is watching but the only match up where anyone turtles up to mass BCs is TvT and that is only because there is no way to break a Tank line as T expt BCs.They will still serve the same purpose and will not change the match up at all. As for lacking Viable ground counters i feel that thats the way it should be since they are soooo expensive (400/300) have such a long build time and high tech req. and have many Air counters at cheaper cost and lower tech Corrupters straight rape BCs, HT and Voidrays as well. o well i never got BCs anyways LOL.
Bunkers-i personally do not mind this change as the only time i make bunkers is when i am setting up a defence or when a Zerg fast expands and makes 0 atking units both of which 5 secs will not matter. Yet again another change to please the zerg in the ZvT matchup
Reapers- This change was needed the Terran 5 Rax reaper was way too strong and forced zerg into only 1 tech choice (roachs) which is easily countered by marauders. Good change but again only affects the ZvT matchup
Siegetank- Siegetanks were already barely ever used in PvT and with this change and the zealots high HP i cannot see a good reason to dump 125 gas to make it in the matchup. As for ZvT with such discoveries as the 5 rax reaper build and magic box ( Thors not splashing mutas) and now the Siege tank damage nerf I think i can safely say that pure mech play is offically dead vs Zerg and that i hope Z likes fighting MMM vs every Terran. Yet another change for the ZvT matchup to favour the zerg.
* ZERG
o Ultralisk
+ Ram ability removed. Ultralisk will now use normal attack against buildings.
+ Damage decreased from 15 (+25 armored) to 15 (+20 armored).
At first this seems like a nerf to the ultra but infact it is a big buff for ultras esp. vs Terran:

Been looking for some insight onto this new patch ... I'm happy for the zerg ultra but that seems a bit rigged. Nice blog though just followed you!
